Postdoctoral Positions in the Yi Zhang lab at Harvard Medical School

The Zhang lab has recently secured funding to launch a new project with the goal of understanding the epigenetic contributions to tissue stem cell aging. To achieve this goal, we will take a comprehensive approach (data mining, epigenomic profiling, CRISPR-based screen) to identify key epigenetic factors involved in tissue stem cell aging. Then, we will test their role in aging/rejuvenation by targeted epigenomic reprogramming through manipulating these factors.

We are interested in recruiting ambitious and outstanding postdocs to push the technical and conceptual boundaries to reveal the unknowns. Applicants with excellent track record and the following background
are preferred:
• Aging (particularly mouse models of aging)
• Tissue stem cells (NSC, MSC, ISC, HSC, MuSC, etc.)
• Targeted epigenomic editing
• Bioinformatics (with math or computer science BS major)

For more information about the lab and our past work, please visit the lab web site
(https://www.zhanglab.tch.harvard.edu/) and the Google Scholar
(https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=7UjSqHEAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao).

Applicants should send their CV and a cover letter explaining why he/she would like to join the team to
Dr. Yi Zhang (yzhang@genetics.med.harvard.edu).
